17th Century Door Frame - Conservation, Restoration and New Carving
A recent project to conserve and restore an original 17th century door frame with unusual carvings at the base. A new oak porch provides further protection for the historic door frame. The client also commissioned low-relief carvings on the green oak posts to represent his interests and local livestock and farming at the time the house was built.
